Preston's 5 year well child check didn't go quite as expected. I got him all psyched for the slew of shots that he was going to get. But when we got there, they discovered that his white count was really elevated and he had a bacterial infection. So instead of boosters and flu shots, we left with a script for antibiotics. 

The upside is that P is growing like a weed…but did I really need to go to the pediatrician to figure that one out? When he was born, he weighed 4 lb 2 oz and was in the 2%, 17 ¼ in long and still in the 2%. Now, 5 years and 6 days later, he weighs 48 lb 3 oz (88%) and is 47 in tall (>97%)!!! Who would have ever guessed that our little Peanut would be so big!??!?

So, we’ll keep you posted on the illnesses…I have a feeling they won’t leave that easy!

Hopefully we'll still be able to go to Rochester and Minneapolis this weekend....fingers crossed!
