4 hours at 3 minute contractions.  It was one of the few times that something has been able to stop Amie in mid sentence.  So we would get about 3 minutes of conversation and then it was like someone hit a pause button.  After a minute then the conversation would start up again.  The contractions were getting very difficult bringing her to tears so after much debate Amie decided she would go with an Epideral.  After the fact Amie said it was very similar to getting the IV.  Well going forward this will be the medicine of choice.  She told the Dr. that she wanted to kiss him and contractions seem to have gotten much easier.  More to follow....
