Swagger wagon...yep, we got one

So I need to officially announce that I am a hypocrite! All my life I have said that “I WILL NEVER, NOT EVER DRIVE A MINI-VAN” Well, I’m eating my words, for all the world to see on the blog. And a little bit of me, just a little, is loving the space! And the kids, well, they think the “ban” (van) is a new playground! In fact, this weekend when we were cleaning out the CR-V from all of the kid clutter, Preston said how much he was going to miss the car. That thought quickly left when he saw how much room the van had!
Btw, pre-kids, the most stuff that Tim and I had in the car was a map in the glove box…
And now, as you can see…this is what our car now holds. I gave Tim a canvas grocery bag to put stuff in from the car. After cleaning out Nessa’s side, the bag was FULL! He went inside to get a laundry basket. I thought he was being a little over the top…hmm, guess again! Here is what we found…3 seasons worth of clothes for 2 kids, 21 kids books, park toys, sidewalk chalk, 1 ball, 3 bottles of bubbles, a pair of Nessa’s undies, 5 pairs of shoes, a handful of “hard as a rock fruit snacks” that fell below the carseats, 3 kids cups, and $10 worth of change! Wow, how did we become “those people?!” (just FYI, only a couple books, and a change of clothes for each kid made it back into the new van!)
After all that hard work cleaning out the car, we had to take a play break with our moonsand!
