The day from...hmmmm

Vacation is over and so is the honeymoon period with the kids! YIKES!! Here is what our day looked like....

Jammies all day, upon 6 attempts to warm up my first cup of coffee-I have yet to drink the whole thing after 8 hours, no shower for day #2, I'm pretty sure I haven't brushed my teeth, lots of time outs, lots of tears, and lots of "I'm sorry" & "I love you's" I think I functioned better when one of them was a newborn! Well, no newborn, just two little cherubs and one tired out momma!!

Tomorrow is a new day...a happy day...Nessa's 2nd birthday! Wait, now I'm sad, she's 2 already? Where did the time go?

*At bedtime…Nessy’s prayer tonight… “Dear God, thank you for the roses sweet, thank you for the food we eat, thank you for the birds that sing, thank you God for ev-wait, thank you for the frogs that make those squawky noises. And watch over Jake and Maggie’s cat and”
M-“Wait, Nessy, Jake and Maggie’s cat came back already.”
N- “Oh, well, then thanks God for makin’ that happen! I guess that’s it! Amen!”
* “Fluffyfliers” (cottonwood)
* “When are we going to go back to Mickey-apolis?” (Minneapolis)
* M “Tell me what you notice about the guy in the picture.”
N “Well, that’s a fat guy in the picture.”
M “We don’t use the word fat Nessa.”
N “Well, he sure isn’t a skinny fella!”
* M-“You scared me girlie!”
N-“You? I scared myself!”
* M “What was the best part of today?”
N “When we picked Preston up from Kindergarten!” (after his first full day)
* “Ahhh! My toes are spark-a-ling!” (her foot fell asleep)
* “Their called gofers Mommy, not grovers!” (actually Ness, they’re called hamsters!)
* “Look! We’re gonna get rain…I see weatherheads!” (thunderheads)
* “I just love my speckles that GOD game me!” (freckles)
* “Is rain a wake up alarm for the worms to come out?”
* “Mac and Cheese is good, but oh so irritating!”
* “Daddy, I don’t know what Mommy just spelled, but it was either that was not nice or that’s not ok!”
* “Mommy’s job is to clean and Daddy’s job is to grill.”
* “Ok, you have to be really careful and use a steady hand.”
* After getting a corsage from Tim for the Daddy Daughter Dance, “Smell my flowers from my date.”
*M- “What’s a date”
N- “It’s when you get flowers from the flower shop and go somewhere.” Hmmm, I’ll be sure to tell Tim that! :)
* “You hurt my arm ankle (wrist)”
* While at our neighbors house… Jessica “Nessa, do you like frozen pizza?”
N- “Yah, I love chilly things!”
* “Mommy, why does my swimsuit have a bra like yours?” (the top was triangle shaped!)
* “I just love my far-pume” (perfume)
* N-“Maybe we should use our schema (building on prior knowledge).”
M- “Do you remember what schema means?”
N- “Using your brain to remember something that’s like something else!”
M- “Right on sister…you rock!”
N- “I know!”
* “When Lannie grows up, she’ll be a person, just like us!”
* “Did you know that horses stand up to sleep…and boys stand up to go potty?”
* “My pant sleeves won’t stay up!”(legs of her pants)
* “Mommy, I want to wear a dress with just handles (straps)”
* “My eyes keep trying to sleep.”
* M- “Are you listening to me Nessa? What did I say?”
N- “Ummm, save big money at Menards????”
* “Oh look, that car has snow on it’s face!” (the hood/lights)
* “Did you know that some people don’t have Jesus in their hearts? But Preston and I do…and so does Landry…when she isn’t sad, or crying, or mad!”
* “Aurora’s last name is Sleeping Beauty!”
* “Look Mommy, see that sign with the deer jumping on it? That deer is jumping because it’s excited for Christmas!”
* “Mommy, you’re a lot softer than Daddy!” (and after asking further…I realized it wasn’t because I was easy going!)
* “…on the 6th day of Christmas my hula gave to me, 6 pair of ducks in a long poor tree!”
* “..Feliz mommy dot!” (trying to sing her “favorite song” Feliz navidad!)
* “ (while hearing the first 2 notes to this song…) “YES! My favorite Christmas song…Christmas in Iowa, is where I want to be!”
* “Is this the Peach Boys singing?”
* “Look at this fun game Preston…squishy, squishy, squishy!” (not so fun for me, she was squishing my buns!)
* “I didn’t lose them. I didn’t lost them. I just don’t know where they are!” (looking for her Polly’s)
* N-“Don’t get my bootie lips…I mean bootie chin…wait, what are those called again?”
M-“You mean bootie cheeks?”
N-“Oh, yah, right! Those! Don’t get ‘em!”
* M-“Why is the floor sticky?”
N-“Well, maybe Porter got it sticky with her sticky paw juice.”
M-“You didn’t do it?”
N-“ Nope. It was Porter I’m sure of it.”
* “My tummy is lurching”
* “You dirty rat!” (yes, that is what she called Mommy one day with a smile on her face!)
* “Oh how I love my step shoes!” (high heels)
*N- “These are good ehy (A)?”
P- “Good B”
N- “Good you dirty rat!”
* N-“I can’t blow my nose with this band-aid on it.”
M-“Sure you can, your snot comes out here (the nostrils) not up here!”
N-“Oh, yah, out my 2 noses!”
P-“Oh Nessy, we only have 1 nose and those bottom parts are not 2 noses, they’re called a snout!”
* P-“I see your love mark from GOD (birthmark) Nessa!”
M-“And your kisses from GOD on your nose!”
N-“No, those are sparkles on my nose. And those are from angels!”
* “Daddy, let me count your lines!”(the wrinkles on his forehead!)
* N-“What color is this, pink or purple?”
M- “It’s called fuchsia.”
N-“That’s pretty, I want to call our next baby that!”
* “Oh look, those girls are matchers (twins)!!”
* “They picked up the pond! It’s all clean now!” (It was filled with algae, now it’s clean!)
* “It smells like our old neighborhood!” (When we drove past El Rodeo)
* “My mouth just tooted!” (After I just coughed)
* “Porter just gave me some fresh air.” (When Porter wagged her tail by Nessa)
* “Castles are in water and they need a scribble bridge (draw bridge) to get in!”
* “This is NOT pretty to look at!” (after looking in the toilet at her throw up!)
* “I put wind in my mouth and now it feels better!” (when she blew in and out after eating hot food)
* “My mouth needs to tell my tummy to stop throwing up!”
* N-“Waah, ahhh, mwahh, sbplah!”
M-“What are you saying?”
N- “Oh, I’m talking in whale talk!”
* “I like your smell Daddy.”
* “I want to wear your step-shoes Mommy.” (what she calls high heels)
* “Let’s go pick out our Santa tree.” (when we told them we were going to get a tree for the yard)
* N-“I like burkers”
M-“What are burkers?”
N-“Well, Mommy, it’s a type of sandwich.” (burgers!)
* “My eyes are drooling!” (watery)
* M-“Nessa, are you really licking the sidewalk?” yep, not a Nessy quote, but it definitely made the cut for her quote wall!
* “I love these special muffins!” (that is what she calls cupcakes!”
* “This food is disgusting Mommy. I think it’s gonna make me frow (throw) up!” lovely Ness!
* “I’d love some more of that alligator juice!” (Gatorade)
* On a movie, this was what they said… “Ill take that as a maybe.” This is what Nessa repeated… “I’ll take my clothes off and call myself a baby!” Hmmm, maybe she really can’t hear me when I give a direction! :)
* “Mommy, how about you come and eat with us. It will make you feel gooder. Ok, Mommy?”
* M-“What are you doing?”
N-“Something amazing I guess!”
* “Mommy, it looks like you have 2 big heads…one up there (my actual head) and one right here (my tummy). But dis one is A LOT bigger!”
* Whenever I really want something, I say “Oh please, oh please!” (while tipping her head and blinking profusely!)
* “Can you believe it?!”
* “Come on Pin-ce Chah-ming. I can’t stand like dis all day!” (when she and Preston were playing prince/princess and he was trying to put on her glass slipper!)
*"It smells berry berry good!"
*"I have a frog in my mouth (tickle). (then she coughed) There, I took it out!"
*M-"Come on cutie-patootie!"
N-" I'm not cutie-patootie, I just pain(plain) old Nessa. No wait, pain, old Pincess Lea!"
*"What you doing with dat I keem(ice cream) shovel (scoop)?!"
*"Scooch you mommy!" (move over lady!)
*M-"How are you feeling sweetie?"
N-"I not kinda good. I have the croupy cough."
*"Mommy, can I have some of those yummy Berry Berry Kickers for breakfast?" (KIX cereal!)
*Nessa asked if I could push her chair closer to the bar, I looked at her with the look because she didn't use manners. She replied "Why, certianly ma'am, you'd be happy to push me in...right?" W-O-W!!
*"The garbage tuk came! It take all the tinky diapers from all the babies away!"
*"My gaw-bage (garbage) is tinky. Daddy take it away into the hallway. I tink it has a nitetime pull-up in dere (there)!"
*"I got my chilly on" (I'm cold!)
*"after we sabe (save) our money, we can go to Disney World!" (this is what I tell EVERYONE I meet!)
*"My buns are tight" (she had a wedgie!)
*"I need a tissue...a boogie tissuse!"
*My new favorite phrase...."How much longer?"
*"Oh look, blue sky is popping through the clouds!" can you tell it's been a long, LONG time since we've had nice weather here!?!??!
*We were reading a book where she has to "read" the pictures that are mixed in with the words. When we came to a picture of a trophy she "read"--"and they won the Piston Cup!" hmmm, do you think they know the CARS movie well enough!??!?!
*"Nessa, you used to love sweet potatoes when you were a baby, why aren't you eating them now?"
N-"I'm not a baby anymore, I'm a big girl and I not like them no more! They are disgusting!!!"
*"I am a superhero, my name is Super cutie patootie girl!"
*"I'm gonna sit right here. It's more comfy-er!"
*"I'm going to name the baby Snow White if she's a girl. But if it's a boy, I'll just name her Jenny. Dat's better!"

*While watching the weather on tv..."Whoa! Look at that large, large,large strom commin'!"

*"Can you unlock my orange, peeze?!" (after it was peeled, she wanted it pulled apart!)
*M-"Nessa, you hurt Preston. He is so sad, does that make you feel sad? How do you feel?"
N-"I feel great Mommy!" hmmm, not exactly how that conversation played out in my head! :)
*"Mommy, I like your twinkly star!" (my ring :)

*"I put dis google eye in here to keep it safe!" (that safe place was in her footie jammies!)
*"You have a belt like Batman Daddy!" (Hmmm, not really a compliment b/c it was his "real" belt!)
*"Oh no, I late for school!" (While playing pretend)
*"Where is my folder?" (bilfold)
*"Ewww! Dat smell like garbage!" (pretty much anything she doesn't like comes with that quote!)
*"Oh, dat disgusting!"
*"I just lub that ____!" (her favorite phrase to say, that is, when she doesn't think something is disgusting!! :)
*"My name Nessa, I am 2, what your name?" (Whenever she meets someone new! Ms Social butterfly!)

*M-"What did you learn in JUBLIATION (Sunday school) today?"
N-"A boy was sick and went away and Jesus helped him." (so I emailed her teacher to see if this was accurate...here is her response...we talked about the story in the beginner's bible about saying thank you to God for all that HE does. The story was about the men who were sick and Jesus healed them. W-O-W!!
*"I put on mommy's lips!" (lip gloss) :)
*"Mommy love Wicked! I gonna be pop-u-ah-lar!"(a song from the production :)
*after I lit a smelly candle, Nessy said, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! BLOW OUT THE CANDLES!!"
*pointing to my eyebrows...Nessa said, "I lub your cute mustaches Mommy!"
*M-"What are you doing to your PBJ?"
N-"Ummm, I take apart the pieces!"
*M-"What do you want to do?"
N-"Let's rock out...YAH-AH!"
*after throwing a huge fit at the library, and she finally listened to directions, I told her 'thanks for making good choice' she said "No problem Mommy!"
*"Oh, your face so cute Daddy!"
*for every song that Nessa hears she says:"Oooh, that's___ favorite song!!"
*"I put in my pungers (plungers)!" (earbuds for the iPOD)
*(we were talking about the difference between a monkey and an ape)Nessa-"I hab (have) a tail!"
Gramma-"Where is your tail Nessy?"
Nessa-"Right here, Gamma, in my shorts!" hmmm??? :)
*"I want girl bike for birthday. And a purple hem-mut (helmut). My birthday comming up!"
*N-"Ow, I hurt my body!"
m-"Well, how did that happen?"
N-"By sitting on my care (chair)"
m-"Hmmm, really, or by standing on your chair?"
N-no comment!!!!
*"Daddy why you putting diaper ceam on face?" (shaving cream!)

Lannie's one liners...

*You LOVE to unpack the pantry to get animals crackers from the bottom shelf. Then when you get them out, you pack everything back in!
*You love music…when you hear it, you raise your hands to the sky and bounce your bod up and down and raise your hand up to the sky! You love to do this action especially at church!
*You know sign language…here are some of your favorites to do: please, more, all done, milk. You can understand these signs: banana, apple, cookie, thank you (you smile when we do this sign for you), help.
*You weren’t so much into this game when you were younger, but at 11 months you love the game peek-a-boo!
*You have transformed from easy going babe to mind of my own, independent toddler! I tried to wean you at 13 months but you wouldn’t have it. It was quite a challenge to get you to take whole milk…but persistence and patience won out (aka Mommy) and now you can’t get enough of the stuff…which now brings a new problem!
*When you were 9 months old, Nessa fed you grass. She did it once, and then decided to show us your new trick! When she showed us, we said “NESSA! Don’t feed your sis grass!” Which was the exact moment that she started patting you on the head trying to get you to spit it out! It was like she was patting Porter on the head to make her drop a toy!!
*After your bath one night, I laid you on the bathroom floor on a towel and gave you some toys to play with while I gave Preston and Nessa a bath. You love, LOVE, LOVE being naked! You scooched yourself off the towel and laid on your tummy on the cool floor…when I picked you up you were soaked…at first I thought it was because you were in the tubby’s splash zone. Then I discovered that you had gone potty all over the floor! Time for bath #2 of the night!

* “Nessa, we should get you some styro-foam to put in the bra of your swimming suit so that you can look like Mommy does in her swimming suit!” (Aww, what a nice compliment!  At least he didn’t think the styrofoam should be around the tummy area or the buns!!!)

* When talking about pirates, Preston refers to the wooden leg as a “pig leg!”
* We had to put a digital clock in Preston’s room and he has to wait for a designated time before he can get up in the morning and from nap. At 2:15p he gets up, comes downstairs and says… “I think I slept right through it!” the time was set for 2:40p!
*P “Mommy, you forgot to put my Spidey toy in toy timeout.”
M “Umm, thanks for that reminder.” (I put the toy up in toy timeout)
P “Mommy, don’t forget all the pieces!”
* “Gramma, I will miss you when you are gone. But when I come to visit I want you to know two things…have my toys all ready for me and please, clean your house!”
* “Hey look! It’s the guy that’s on all the money!” (after seeing all the Presidents faces on a ruler, he pointed to Washington)
* “Whoa-that pear got burned up!” (it was actually an avocado)
* “Daddy, I want you to be Zurg for my birthday.”
D-“I’ll need a costume.”
P-“Nope, you look just like him!”
*M-“ Preston, grab that jar, it’s on the left side.”
P-“Is that the hot side or the cold side?” (like a faucet-hot ⓛ cold ®
* “That sounds like Away In A Manger. I’m whispering it in my mouth!” (after hearing just the instrumental version)
*(while listening to Justin Beiber) “Whoa! It’s almost like I’m actually in the band!”
*(As I, Mommy, am sitting on day 32 without a shower and in PJ’s, Preston says the following while watching a home video…) Mommy, you look so, SO much prettier in the movie than you do now!”
* “I’ve been saving my birthday wish a long time. I didn’t know I could keep a secret that long!”
* (After decoding what he was saying through his tears…) “It’s almost Christmas and I don’t know what to wish for! I’m so worried!”

* “I have a huge secret about what we were doing at school, but I can’t tell you. Well, I can tell you these 2 things…it will fill you with holiday cheer and well, I also made a card!”
* “I have a secret but I can’t tell Nessa. (so he whispers it to me) I’m gonna marry Isabelle (a girl in his class). I didn’t want to tell Nessa because she would be so sad, because we always say were going to be married.” (what a sweetie!!)
* “Don’t squeeze my nose to hard, all the snot will shoot right out!”
* N-“I can’t blow my nose with this band-aid on it.”

* “Nessa, don’t eat that cookie dough! Remember, Mommy said that people don’t take care of the eggs and they are too dangerous for us to eat…well, until they turn into cookies. Then we can eat them like crazy!”

*M-“Preston, you don’t need to give that to Nessa just because she cried.”
P-“Yah, I know, but her crying was hurting my ears. I just wanted her to stop, so that’s why I shared!”

P-“I don’t know you tell me. I’ve never driven before!”
* P-“Mommy you’ll cry when I go to college won’t you. You’ll miss me.”
Ugh, I’m already crying just thinking about it!
* “When I’m 10, I’m going to donate my toys to kids who don’t have toys, that will be nice of me.” (after watching Toy Story 3 for the second time!)
* “It’s not upside down, its upside up!”
*” I know how GOD makes those beautiful clouds…he takes 2 big cottonballs and scrumples them together and then blows them up real big!”
*M-“Look at that beautiful sunset that GOD painted!”
P-“It is so beautiful, but Mommy, GOD didn’t paint it, he created it!”
* “Oh Mommy, I just love your squishy arms and knees!” (hmmm, sweet, yet right to the heart!)
* “Oh wow! Your bootie sure is getting bigger from this baby! Do you think it will go back to how it used to be when the baby gets out?” (again…ouch, yet effective!)
* P- “ I want to pray half in my head and half out loud tonight. Dear God, Please have Mommy and Daddy go to Las Vegas sometime for a vacation. And God, please help me come to Heaven sometime to see you…but not too soon.”
* P-“I love you Mommy as much as…hmm, as much as it snowed this winter!”
* P-“Mommy you sort of look like a snowman.”
M-I hesitantly ask “Why do you think that?”
P- “Well you have 3 circles…your head is a circle, then right there is a circle (my, yah, you guessed it, the things between my neck and my belly!), and your belly is the biggest circle. See, a snowman!”
*N-“What is South America?”
P-“Well, it’s like America, only…south!”
*M-I was talking on the phone and said “Shut-uuuup, really?!” Later that day, Preston told Tim (in private so he wouldn’t hurt my feelings), “I heard Mommy say shut-up today. I know it’s not ok for grown-ups to say bad words, but I just wish that grown-ups were allergic to bad words!” Oops, thinks Mommy!
*P-“Daddy, theses chocolate shakes don’t taste like DQ’s shakes!”
D-“Well then I’ll just give more to Nessa!”
P-“Well, I guess they taste ok for me to eat!”
*M-“How did you get your bike helmet on by yourself?”
P-“I’m a professional Mommy.”
*M-“How does spaghetti sound for dinner tonight?”
P-“I think it sounds slurp-a-mendous!”
*M-“Look, there is the Capitol building.”
P-“Do they make capital A’s and B’s and stuff like that?”
* “There is a big TV outside!” (it was a digital billboard)
*P-"Why didn't we see any woodpeckers at the zoo?"
D-"Well, they don't have woodpeckers at the zoo."
P-"Well, what kind of peckers do they have?"
*"You are so entertaining to me Daddy!"
*One day during a supposed nap, I found P in my closet with his lola, pillow and all good intentions of napping-so he said...instead, he was wrapping his leg in toliet paper like a cast. I asked him what he was doing, his only response "How did you know I was in here??"
*"I love you up to Heaven and back again!"
*"Why is orange juice yellow when it's called orange juice?"
*"Mommy loves everything...well, except wolves,fire and oh yah, ghosts."
*"Oh yah...right." my new favorite saying.
*"I'm gonna flyst those flies" (swat them with the flyswatter)
*"Hey Nessa, remember when you threw that drama mama fit the other day? That was NOT your best choice!"
*M-"Preston, give that purse to Nessa please."
P-"Mommy, boys don't play with purses, they use bags."
*One of Prestons little friends, Zaida, said that she wanted to marry Preston. When I told him this, he said "Aww, that's so cute. I want to marry her someday too...but when I get a little bigger!"
*"Daddy, did you know about this story in the bible? When Jesus was done teaching, ALL DAY, he crawled into a boat with his friends. Then he took a nap, you know why? He was pooped after teaching all day-remember how Mommy used to be? And then a big storm came and his kids were scared. They woke Jesus up and he said "Be quiet storm, be still storm" and then it stopped! Cool, huh?"
*"I wish Mommy's tummy didn't get big with the baby it's hard to hug her. And then when the baby is born, her belly would get small agian like normal." (ahh, and to think he thought it was small to start with! :)
*"Daddy is so special, he let's us do everything you don't!"
*M"Did you think about your choices when you were in your room?"
P"I did, and I talked to GOD A LOT when you sent me up there. HE didn't say much, but I know he could hear me!"
*P"Mommy, I want you to be miserable"
M"Do you know what misserable means?"
P"Nope, is it bad?"
*Whenever P gets in trouble, sent to t.o., etc, he shouts "Nobody likes me! You are being so mean!" wow, and I thought that wouldn't start until teenage years!!!
*At the ultrasound, Preston asked "Does the baby have clothes on?"
*M"Do you want cinnamon on your pears?"
P "Why, sure dear!"
*P-"Mommy, who are the people that grow corn? Not a farmer, the other people? You know, the people who were around a long time ago, they rode on a Mayboat?"
M-"You mean pilgrims? You gave great clues so I could figure it out!"
P-Yah, those are the ones! I did give good clues huh?!"
*"I love you Mommy, you are just my favorite Mommy. You are too sweet!"
*"Mommy, I want to keep you forever. But what if someone takes you away from me?"
*N-"I need help, it's upside down!"
P-"Well Ness, turn it up side up!"
*"My teacher wore a cool clay necklace (lei) to school for beach day today!"
*M-"Nessa is looking at you funny!"
P-"What is she looking like...is she looking at me all googly eyed?!"

*"Let's read God" (the bible...he always calls it a bible, too funny!)
*Come and find me behind the volumes!" (speakers)
*"Try and find me Daddy! Oh, and don't make a peek!" (peep)
* M-"Buddy, how many times will I have to tell you this???"
P- "Ummm, 12 times, I think that will work"
*M"Why is Nessy's leg wet?"
P "I have no idea! That sure is something, huh!"
*"Mommy, I just love you! I want to hug and smooch you all the time!"
*P "Guess where peas come from?"
N "Where Peston?"
P "From pea poddles!"
* when we were playing hide and seek... P "NO! Don't realize me Daddy!" (don't notice me! :)
*M-"What is that NOISE???"
P-“Um, I'm trying to bash the door down! I'm a super hero!"
...seriously? ALL BOY!!!!
*"...and a parsige in a pan-try!" he loves singing Christmas songs! Funny to hear what he thinks the words are!
*"This is so magical! I love GOD! He made the snowy night so magical!"
*"It's (the snow) just so beautiful on the Christmas lights!"
*M-"Preston, stop dumping the water out of the tub or you'll have to get out!"
P-"Hmm, I think I'm all done in here!"
*in a high pitched squeal..."I just don't know what I'm doing!! Whew, that was my best girl sounding voice!"
P-"Mommy, that mask looks like Darth Vader"
M"Thanks!"
P-"That isn't a good thing Mommy!" (translation: not a compliment!!! ha!)
*I just don't know how to thank you! I'm the happiest boy ever!"
*M"Did you know that you are my favorite boy?"
P"Well, yah, I think I've heard that before!"
*"What happened? Did GOD turn off his hose? (it stopped raining) Why did HE turn on his fan so high, it's too windy!
P"Did you know that sea turtles eat long green beans? Well, not the same kind of green beans that we eat, but there like green beans," (seaweed!)
*"Why do princesses like to dance so much?"
*"Mommy, can you get a new song in your head? I don't want to hear "You're gonna be pop-u-ah-lar!!" any more!"
*We are learning words of the day with mommy...
M-"What does crural mean?"
P-"Oh, I know this one, she's the mean lady on 101 Dalmations!" hmmm, not Cruella, crural! :)
*P-What would happen if a zebra lost his black stripes? Would he still be a zebra?"
*M-"What did you learn in KQ today?"
P-"Well, the bible tells us to obey."
M-"What does obey mean?
P-"Listen and follow directions"
M-"Who are you supposed to listen to?"
P"GOD and well, you and Daddy!"
*"Stop the boat! I see nature! Nature everywhere!"
*(after I fell down) "Ow!!! This hurts, I've never done something like this before!"
*"Sometimes Daddy's aren't very good at following a mommy's directions!"
*"Mommy, are you going to dance when we go to bed?" (after a comment that I love the show Dancing With the Stars!)
*P-"What are you doing?"
D-"Reading a book."
P-"reading a book."
D-"Yes"
P-"Yes, I'm copying you! This is fun!"
M-"Did you learn that at preschool?"
P-"Yep!"
*"Guess what? I got a new carpet spot at school! I sit right by Mrs. TeKippe!" Hmmm, is this good or bad Mommy wonders? :)
P "I just LOVE being a kid! I'm having a wonderful day!"
P"You were right Mommy, eating cotton candy ice cream did turn my poopy colors! I sure picked a good one! I love the color blue! "
*m-"Why are you two eating grass?"
P-"We are herbivores, Mommy! We love grass!"
*(while we were at P's eye appt) Mommy, I sure hope that Jane and Nessa are having fun, cause I'm ready to go home!"
*"nacho, nacho, man. Mommy, do we have that song at home?"
*mommy-"what do you want for your birthday?"
preston-"I would like experience gifts!" (I guess I can never say he doesn't listen!! That's what we are asking for Christmas *"Wow, I've never used slider soap before!" (bar soap)
P "Wow Mommy, you were right, I was patient & I did grow bigger!"
* "Ow, I hurt my head on the fence around the stairs!" (the railing)
* "Mommy, we need to pray to GOD."
m-"Ok, would you like to say the prayer?"
P"Why, yes, I would love to!"
* "I made you laugh! That's right, I'm a funny guy!"
*P "Ow, I must have sharp teeth! I just bit my thumb, and it hurt!"
*"Can you help me pull the "pick" (pit) out of this cherry?"
* "Wow, if I keep eatin' all these cherries, I think I might turn into a big cherry!"
* "It's true, I told Mommy I needed a "break" on vacation, but...actually, I snuck into the camper and ate snack instead!" * "I love my new painted room! It's spectacular!"
* "Ow, Nessa chewed (bit) me!"
* I saw a box of Cheerios at the store and asked Mommy, "what's cholesterol?" When she was done laughing, she said "what?" And I said in a serious voice "My dr. said I need to lower my cholesterol!" We didn't get to watch tv for awhile!
* p-"Does a moped drive on grass?"
m-"No, why?"
P-"Then why do they call it a "mow"ped if it desn't drive on grass or cut grass?"
* m-"Do your new jeans fit ok?"
p-"Um, yes. If I can just roll on my side & someone helps me up!"
m-"Do you want some ranch with that?"
p-"Um. Sure. Ranch would be just fine if that's all you got!"
